Nothing’s better than getting a thoughtful gift, wrapped all pretty in a gift holder made just for you.  I can’t help you with a thoughtful gift but can help you make an awesome holiday gift holder.  Today I’m showing you how easy it is to make a special, one of a kind, handmade gift holder.

For this project you will need two fabric pieces in your desired size and your choice of ribbons.  Here are just some spools that screamed holiday to me.

Next measure out your ribbon choses to be a little longer then the top of your gift holder.  There is no need to set exact measurements.  Just make sure the ribbon pieces are longer then the bag width.  Now for the fun customizable part.  Start combining your pieces into sets.  Try different combinations out and go with what you feel looks right to you.  Once you find a set you like, glue the pieces together and let dry.

Now add your adhered ribbon sets to sit at the top of your fabric bag, sandwiched between the two pieces.  Sew down the sides and bottom making the bag.

Trim off the excess ribbon and turn bag inside out.  All that is left is to add your thoughtful gift.
