How To Make Ribbon Shoe Clips
I love shoes! The problem is my budget doesn’t love shoes as much as I do so I’m always on the hunt for shoes that I can wear with more than one or two outfits. That’s why I was so excited to find these cute little strappy flats that look good with everything from sundresses to shorts.
Now here’s the best part! I can make them match almost any outfit, dress them up or make them playful with a little help from May Arts Ribbon!
They’re quick, easy and inexpensive! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Metal shoe clips
- Felt Circles
- E-6000 glue
- May Arts Ribbon
That’s it! May Arts has so many gorgeous ribbons to choose from, you never have to wear the same pair twice!
Here are the easy steps to create your own designer shoes. First up are the Shabby Flower clips:
You can use almost any of the narrow May Arts Ribbons for these ribbon pom-poms:
Cut 7-8 strips of ribbon about 6-7” long. Stack and tie together with another strip of ribbon. (I wanted to use a wide ribbon for shabby strings so I cut it lengthwise into strips.)
Knot each ribbon individually. That’s it. Now just glue your ribbon pom pom to the felt circles on your shoe clips with E-6000 glue.
I think I’ll wear these today! They make me feel happy.
We’d love to see how many ribbon combinations you can put together for your own May Arts ribbon shoe clips! Summer’s coming…make them for your flip flops too!
