Gift Ideas For Hanukkah
Hanukkah is about to start and I’ve got a few quick and easy gift ideas to help you celebrate the holiday. First up a gift tag.
I started with two blue Faber Castel gelatos, coloring a piece of white card stock and then spritzing with water. Once the paper is dry I cut a section with a tag die. I took a 6″ strip of white silk and wrapped it around the tag several times. I adhered the ends of the silk to the back of the tag and then die cut out a second tag with cardstock to hide the ribbon ends. With a circle punch I cut out a 1 3/4″ vellum circle and added a SRM sticker. I added a double-sided banner die, tucking the second side behind the card and tied the tag onto the package with burlap string. I wrapped the gift in brown packaging paper and blue textured ribbon.
Next up I decorated a pillow box. Using the same Faber Castel gelatos I punched a circle punch out of the colored paper and then added a SRM sticker to the top. To add a bit of blue to my silk ribbon I ran the ribbon through the distress inkpad. I layered my pillow box with a doily, blue ribbon, & white silk and then a vellum die cut and the top colored circle with a sticker.
Another fun idea is to take a tag and add a photo to the back of the tag. In the photo on the right my youngest son is playing with a dreidel from our cousin.
And the last two goodies I have to share are a gift cardholder and a card. Hope these ideas help inspires you.
