DIY Pillow Boxes With Faux Burlap
Greetings, if you haven’t had a chance to play with the new May Arts faux burlap this project will hopefully inspire you. I’ve taken some kraft pillow boxes and given them a little love, I think it’s fun to take four different colors of the same ribbon and create coordinating projects, each a little different, but all similar.
Start by cutting a piece of faux burlap in a 6″ piece, step the ribbon aside. Chose a large Hero Arts background stamp and ink up with a neutral color ink to create a background. Once you have secured the ribbon to the pillowbox with adhesive take a 12″ piece of natural burlap string and wrap around the pillow box several times.
Die cut out a decorative frame and stamp a sentiment, adhere to pillow box with pop dots.
