How To Make an Eyelet Trimmed Pillow
I’ve got a pretty addition to any front porch today!
I had an old pillow on my porch so I used that as a form & a pattern. Basically 2 pieces that are the size of the pillow (plus an inch for seam allowance) for front & back, and a piece the same width but only about ¼ the length for tucking that insert out of sight.
I attached 1” eyelet trim around the perimeter and 3/8” eyelet trim for the ties. I adore these ribbons!!
The ties were sewn to the back panel and between the front & insert.
The front & back were sewn together and then I could add the pillow!
It looks great on the tied side too!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired!
