DIY: 3 Stampendous Cards

stamp4

It is so fun to see how perfectly May Arts ribbon compliments the stamps & fun items from Stampendous! I’ve got a few cards to share!

First up:

13

I used the dragonfly image from the Cling Jumbo Water lily– and heat embossed it with Fran-táge aged green embossing enamel onto 2.5” white satin! I applied some tea ink to the ribbon to distress it lightly. I then layered the embossed ribbon on top of 3” metallic gold net which was attached to green cardstock. I cut it in half to keep the bulk down.

The gold in the embossing powder looks so cool with the gold in the net ribbon!

Next up I used the filigree image from the new Jumbo Cling Iris set.

32

I heat embossed it with that fabulous Fran-táge aged green enamel. After stamping & embossing the image 3 times I fussy cut around the image. I then attached 3 pieces of 5/8” jute to another piece of cardstock & attached that to the front of the card base under the embossed images!

I wish you could see the amazing effect that Fran-táge powder gives! It is different each time you use it!

Here’s that same card using the 2.5” natural wired burlap!

Now after those last two semi-masculine cards, I’ve got an uber girlie card to share!!

51

Look at that Iris!

As the name says, it is large! And I wanted to use the whole image, so my card base is 4 x 8 ½ “. I stamped the iris on vellum, then heat embossed with white powder.

61

I used Luminarte twinkling h20’s to color the image- love the effect it gave on the vellum. I then tied 1.25” silk around the vellum & added it to the card base.

Thank you Stampendous for your wonderful products! And thank you for your time! I hope you’ve been inspired!
