Hello ribbon lovers! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to bring you a tutorial here on the May Arts blog – my craft room renovation stole a lot of playtime from me, and I’m ecstatic that the room is finished so I can get back to creating – and bringing you videos!
Today, I want to share a simple ribbon technique that adds some pizzazz to a card without adding a lot of bulk.
I paired the ribbon technique with this beautiful Cottage Rose from Stampendous; if you’d like to see the coloring video, click here to watch that one.
And if you’d like a downloadable set of instructions to print out, here’s a PDF!

Gorgeous card, love how you used the ribbon, will have to try that.
Lovely card and great ribbon technique.
This is a beautiful card and I love your technique for tying this type of ribbon onto the card using the focal image. Great idea, TFS!

What a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. Your card is absolutely gorgeous!!
Great video and a lovely card too. I shall have to try and do this myself as I don't like a lot of bulk even for my own card sending.
Thank you for ribbon video. I thought really hard on this the last time I applied a ribbon to my card and your video re-enforced that I had done right. Thank you. Jean
