DIY Candy Corn Halloween Decorations
Dress up a fireplace mantel or dinner table with this festive and sweet candy corn trio. For mine I have used two 9″ and one 12″ styrofoam cones, which can be found at most any craft store.
Starting at the bottom, spread a thin layer of fabric glue onto a small section of the cone as you work your way up. Wrap different colors of jute around the cone horizontally; make sure to butt each row up tightly to the one below it.
For added interest, attach pom pom trim to the bottom of each cone. Create a generous bow from yellow/white polka dot ribbon and glue to the side of one of the smaller cones. To the center of the bow tie on a loop of orange burlap string and any cute embellishments…this jack ‘o lantern was once an earring!
To finish off the trio, I cut circles of felt and glued to the bottom of each cone. Cluster together on a charger or large plate and then sprinkle in some real candy corn around the base.
