Hey everybody! Today I am sharing a little project that I created for someone VERY special. Sometimes there are people that begin to get a little harder to buy for, whether it’s a teenage child or just someone that seems to have everything! Well this is an idea to make Gift Cards a little more fun to give.
I wanted to make this card bright and cheery, just like the person it was going to. So I used lots of fun bright patterns and embellishments, and the finishing touch were these beautiful ribbons to tie the card closed.
Project Recipe:
- 1/4″ Silk Ribbon Teal and Mint Green
- 1/4″ Twill Chevron Ribbon Yellow
- Happy Day Collection from Pebbles Inc
- Thickers Letter Stickers
This someone special had a super fun road trip planned in her near future, so we wanted to give her a little extra help with some of the things that she may need. So I thought of the things that a person might need on a road trip…..gas, coffee, snacks etc.
Once I had my gift cards bought, then I created my card accordingly with the right amount of pockets made to size. The pockets are created using simple cardstock that I folded at the bottom to create the pocket for everything to sit in. Then I simply stapled one side to keep the pocket closed somewhat.
From there it’s just a matter of embellishing the card as you wish, and personalizing it.
Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my Gift Card Birthday Card!!
