Unique Thank You Card
Ellen Sosnoski here with some May Arts and Hero Arts. A match made in heaven! Ribbon and stamps make me smile. Today I created a card for you using this super cute cupcake stamp and some thank you sentiments from Hero Arts. The May Arts ribbon is one of my faves, the Twill Stripes #382-34-94. You must get this in EVERY color!
Let’s get started….
First up stamp the cupcake. I like to stamp a few in case some don’t turn out as clear and I save some for future projects.
Stamp on white and a colored cardstock. I am using blue and all of the cardstock is Core’dinations.
Cut out the top and bottom of the cupcake.
Now adhere some fun little beads on the cupcake like sprinkles. I am using some Helmar adhesives. Works great and dries fast and clear!
Now we are going to score the bottom of the cupcake so it looks like the folds of an actual cupcake liner. Trim the remainder off and lets adhere to card base. Use the chevron lines from the stamp as your guide.
When you are adding your glue, just do a little bit on the sides. Since we scored the cupcake, it has this cool kind of bend to it so we are going to work with that instead of fighting it. It will look more realistic. Do the same thing with the top of the cupcake, too.
Here is a close up of the card so you can see the dimension.
Now it’s time for the cherry. Some May Arts ribbon! It really is the cherry on top, don’t you agree? 😉
Add you sentiment from Hero Arts and you are done!
