Hi all. Vera here today to share some glittery projects. I made a couple cards that shows how fun it is to create Christmas tree using some fab glittery ribbons.
Here’s the first card:
I first adhere the golden ribbon to the card base. Tombow liquid glue works wonderfully for this. You only need to trace very fine line of glue and it sticks really well. Then adhere the gray panel. Now, for the white panel, I adhere a couple ribbons for border then stamp the sentiment. This way I know where to place my tree. Layer the white panel on top of the gray panel.
The tree is pretty easy to make. I simply draw a triangle and then covered it with ribbons. Add the tree trunk and adhere the tree to panel.
Now, the second card:
The tree on this card is a bit more festive. The only difference with how I made the first tree is this time I layered the ribbons on the tree. After I adhere the silver, green, and red ribbons, I layered the gold ribbon on top of it.
Using glitter ribbon is a great way to add some pizzazz to a clean and simple design. May Arts is currently hosting a challenge to use glitter ribbon, so check it out and join the challenge!
