Fun DIY for Girls: Halloween Mask
Hi there May Arts fans, this is Jenifer here with you today to share this fun mask I made my daughter for Halloween. She is at that age where she still wants to get the candy but doesn’t necessarily want to dress up for it. She just about died when I came up with this mask. We will just have to see what the rest of her outfit will look like.
With the right supplies this mask came together in about 20 minutes. There are tons of free mask shapes on google just find the one you want and trace it out on your favorite piece of card stock. I used some of the beautiful glittered paper from DCWV.
After I cut out my mask shape I went around the edges with the Adhesive Scallop ribbon. Punched a small hole on each side to knot the Elastic String through and then decorated. I layered leaves and flowers until I had the look I was going for.
I think I will make a few more of these because they were just so much fun to put together. I think that they would even be cute framed in small shadow boxes and hung in my daughters bedroom.
