DIY Enchanted Card Featuring Our Variegated Silk
Hi!! Pam Bray from Scrapbook flair here today on the May Arts Ribbon Blog sharing my Enchanted Forrest Carnival Card with a “Carnival” bow tutorial using May Arts Ribbon 1 1/4 Gypsy Variegated Silk Ribbon. So let’s get started!
STEP ONE: Begin by first distressing the edges of pattern paper. Adhere each distress layer to top of card front.
STEP TWO: Die cut doily. Apply adhesive.
STEP THREE: Adhere doily and border to front of card. Add chipboard to oval punch; add to front of card with pop dots.
STEP FOUR: Make “carnival” bow from MayArts Ribbon 1 1/4″ Gypsy Variegated Silk Ribbon; add to front of card.
STEP FIVE: Wrap skewer with MayArts Ribbon 1 1/4″ Gypsy Variegated Silk Ribbon; mist with well with water. Allow the ribbon to dry completely.
STEP SIX: Once dried; carefully unwrap ribbon from skewer.
STEP SEVEN: Cut into 4 pieces.
STEP EIGHT: Add curly silk ribbon pieces to card front to create a fun “carnival” bow.
STEP NINE: Add small chipboard circle to top of card. Add gemstone.
I hope I have inspired you to grab some of May Arts Ribbon to create yourself some fun “carnival” style bows. Thanks for stopping by Pam.
