Making Homemade Easter Treats

I’ve got several Easter treats to share with you, so let’s get started.

That chevron pattern is really trendy right now, so I took some party bags with that pattern, cut and adhered some strips of patterned papers, die cut some little baskets, punched some bunnies, stamped on a little date and filled with chocolatey Easter goodness.  And then I tied them off with this curly sparkly white ribbon from May Arts.

Second to treat bags, the other sweet gift that I love to give is candy bars.  Pretty simple, very affordable, and easy to mail.  But I dress them up a bit so that they don’t appear like something I just picked up at the Walmart checkstand as an afterthought *giggles*

I covered these yummy Lindt white chocolate bars with some patterned paper, and then tied them off with my new favorite ribbon from May Arts.  And then I embellished with pretty flowers and bling and leaves and punched bunnies.

And finally, some fun papercrafted Easter candy pouches.  These were pretty easy to make – I die cut the pouch and then stitched the edges shut.  You could just glue them, but I like the stitchy-stitchy.  I stamped my sentiment on some pre-made tags and then threaded this wider sheer ribbon through it and tied it off with this pretty double-faced satin ribbon that I love to use just like you would any twine or string – only a lot prettier.
