Easy DIY Halloween Door Décor
Welcome back to the May Arts Blog! We’ve all been getting ready for fall and Halloween decorating.
Since the holiday is a short one, I don’t like to spend too much time or money on decorations.
I found this rustic looking broom at my local craft store for $2.99 (I had a coupon for 40% off as well!)
I grabbed a can black spray paint and sprayed away.
Craft tip: Always keep black, white, silver and gold spray paint in your craft stash.
After it was really good and dry, I grabbed some gorgeous May Arts Ribbon and made an easy loop bow. For of you who may think you’re “bow –challenged”, this is one anyone can do! Just make loops as large as you want your bow to be, and then tie off the middle with another piece of matching ribbon! Easy peasy!
I used approximately 3 yards of each May Arts Ribbon for my bow.
Now tie your ribbon on the broom and you’re finished!
I found some glittery pumpkin confetti in my stash box so I hot glued them to the broom for a bit of extra fun.
Thanks for joining us on the May Arts Blog!
