Make Your Own Friend Card With Flower Pin Gift
Last month I attended an event put on by Scrapbook and Cards Today in my area. There was an assortment of challenges for the attendees. When I saw an ‘interactive project’ on the challenge sheet, I couldn’t wait to try something different. The guidelines were it could pop, flip, slide, or zip. But why not something dual purpose that could give your project a little extra life too? Have a look at what I came up with.
The idea is that you give your bestie a beautiful card, then when she is done adoring your work or the occasion is long past, she can ‘pick’ the flower and the brooch can be a cute accessory.
To create the flower you can follow this tutorial from UCreate, using ARR 1/2” ric rac. Adhere a small strip of Velcro to the back with hot glue, the opposite side to the card. When complete, hot glue a brooch pin to the flower.
