Craft Idea: Fringe Flower Embellishment
I love a beautiful ribbon flower, especially a super cool unique one. So today I’m sharing a tutorial on this ribbon “Fringe Flower”. I think it’s the perfect accent and looks really cool.
What makes this project fast and easy, is the awesome embroidery fringe ribbon from May Arts. You also need two tape sheets cut into circles (One big and one small), and a little something special for the middle.
You will start building your flower from the outside in. Remember to gather the ribbon as you work around the circle.
Keep working around, moving into the middle as you go. Here is what the piece looks like when you are at the end.
You could stop here if you had a big piece for the center. I wanted to put a small brad so I built up the middle by adding another little circle and started adding ribbon as I did before.
All you have to do now is add your center. I decided to use this fringe flower on a headband but you could add these to cards and scrapbook pages or to gift bags and clips.
