How To Get Organized: Ribbon Cord Wraps
I recently cleaned a 3-month pile of Halloween and Christmas off my desk, and underneath I found this beautiful craft table (I know you know what I’m sayin’)! Tis the season for mass organization and one thing that really irritates me is messy cords, so I came up with this simple fix! These ribbon cord wraps are the perfect way to use up a few ribbon scraps and no more cords cluttering up your space.
You will need approximately a 10” piece of ribbon, I used a twill ribbon.
Sew a piece of female Velcro to one end of the ribbon (folding the end under to prevent fraying). Sew the male side of the Velcro 2.5” from the first piece on the opposite side of the ribbon piece.
Pin the no Velcro end of the ribbon to the cord close to the tool. Sew to keep the ribbon attached.
Coil the cord up and wrap the ribbon around the cord to hold.
No more pesky cords, and when you use your tools the ribbon will be in the same place you left it when you’re done!
