How To: Gift Wrapping For Him & Her
Today, we are featuring the art of gift wrapping. We have two beautifully wrapped packages for you today: one for him and one for her! And since we are a proper ribbon blog, ladies will go first. 😉
Elegant Gift Wrap by Karen Baker:
What I find so fascinating about May Arts Ribbon is their wide variety of products available. They have ribbon and trim that range from cute and fun to classy and sophisticated. There truly is a product for every kind of project.
I found myself needing a presentation for my gift to a young, classy bride-to-be that was elegant and sophisticated. I started by wrapping the package in black and white gift wrapping paper (an after-holiday find in the clearance aisle for little to nothing). I then secured the package with 1/2” black solid wrinkle ribbon. This ribbon is amazing, so easy to manipulate and perfect for double bows. I love that it has a deep, true black color too for being a thin ribbon, a nice alternative to satin or grosgrain. I included a fresh, red rose for double the impact of sophistication and elegance. The red/black/white combo exudes it!
I created a card to match my packaging and used the color combination of red/black/white. The Congratulations card features a bow made from 1.25” Satin Ribbon in Red. This ribbon is also easy to manipulate into big, elegant bows and creates a stunning look for a simple card.
And now Gift Wraping For Him by Jen Shears:
I’m always looking for ways to make masculine gifts shine! I think the combination of the 1.5” jute and organic cotton blend stripe in natural/white paired with 3/8” brown satin hits the nail on the head, don’t you?
Simple, but awesome!
