Fun DIY For Girls: Hair Bow Holder

Hair Bow Holder

I really enjoy making things for my daughter. Not only is it inexpensive and fun, but she also enjoys handmade things hanging in her room. Her hair bow collection has gotten rather large lately and throwing them in a bin makes it difficult on mornings when we are running a little behind on time and need to grab a quick matching bow. Having them displayed where we can see them is an absolute must. I decided to make her a bow holder to do just that!

Hair Bow Holder

This bow holder is so simple to make! It takes a matter of minutes! We obviously need more than one, but that’s not a problem!

To create this bow and headband holder, you need a 1.5” ribbon and a 7/8” ribbon of your choice. I chose the solid fuchsia and the zebra print to match my daughters room. Cut the ribbons to 36” each and pair them with the 7/8” on top of the 1.5”. You will need to wrap the top part around a key ring or another piece of ribbon that forms a loop so you can hang your ribbon holder. Glue the 7/8” ribbon to the 1.5” ribbon every 1.5” to form little pockets to slide the bows and headbands through. Add a decorative bow to the top to complete the look. Hang your bows and headbands in style!
