How To Make A Ribbon Headband
My Daughter wanted some fun headbands to put in her hair for the summer. We came up with the super quick and easy ribbon headbands that took about 15 minutes to do all 3.
Directions:
- Cut a length of ribbon cut at 44″ (you will need to be able to tie it under your hair)
- Decorate as desired. For the flowers I like to use 5 flowers, 1 as the base then the other 4 folded in quarters and then sewn down at the center.
Fun and Sassy Headband:
May Arts Ribbon Used:
- 382 1.5″ Chevron Striped Twill
- 439 Flowers
Classy Headband:
May Arts Ribbon Used:
- 439 Flowers
- 405 1.5″ Iridescent with Stitched Edge
Casual Headband:
For this headband we tore a scrap piece of fabric 2″ wide and 44″ long then sewed the ribbon in pleats on one side to dress it up.
May Arts Ribbon Used:
- DD 5/8″ Grosgrain Polka Dot
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my simple project today, I hope you create some fun summer headbands for yourself.
