Make Your Own Custom Gift Box
After thirty plus years of working, one of my fellow associates is retiring! It came to my attention that her favorite beverage of choice was super inexpensive so I picked up six bottles (which should last quite a while, eh?). In order to dress up the bottles beyond the normal cardboard box, I picked up a deep purple office supply bin at my local superstore and dressed it up with May Arts Ribbon.
After adding white packing grass on the sides of the bottles to keep them from shifting, I tucked a length of the May Arts ½” Pom Pom Trim in White to the underside lip of the bin with sticky adhesive dots.
I then wrapped a length of May Arts 1½” White Linen Ribbon under the bin and through the holes on the sides and up over the cardboard divider. I tied a large bow and added another smaller bow with the same ribbon. To tie in the trim I used on the bin, I also tucked in a small length of the pom pom trim into the bow as well.
I made a card to go along with the gift as well. I stamped a sentiment and added a panel of decorative paper to pull out the purple color of the bin and seals on the bottles.
I then added a strip of May Arts Mini Pom Pom Ribbon in white and tied a big bow with May Arts 1.25” Silk Ribbon in Black for a dramatic effect.
I hope my coworker likes her gift with custom packaging that was made so easy with May Arts Ribbon!
