DIY Mothers Day Mini Album Card

Hi this is Jenifer here with you today to share this quick Mothers Day Card with you using the Authentique “Delightful” Collection.  I absolutely loved this paper collection the papers and the patterns were perfect for me.   For my project I created a Mother’s Day Card/Mini Album, I wanted it to be more than a card and something that my Mom could keep on her shelf all year long.

The Card itself is pretty simple, I cut 2 pieces of patterned paper 5×12 for the outside piece and 5×11 for the inside piece.  I did a simple sewing binding with the new May Arts Bakers twine (I LOVE THIS STUFF) to keep the pages together.

I had these small envelopes in my stash forever and decided that it would be nice if each of the kids would write their own letter to Grandma that she could open up and keep forever in the envelope.

As you can see I kept the card pretty simple and let the pictures and the letters be the main focus of the card.  I hope you have enjoyed my project today and that it has inspired you to create something wonderful.  Make sure you come back tomorrow for more projects and inspiration.

May Arts ribbons used in this project:  412-17, 412-28, 412-27, 389-18-31, 389-18-09, 389-18-17, 393-3-17, 393-3-01, PV35, XL16, XL17.

I love this idea!  Card and album in one – that is just great!  And the envelopes so the kids can write notes is ingenious 🙂  This would be great for all kinds of occasions!

What a cute idea. Wouldn't it be great as a gift for a teacher, or grandma for Mother's Day? Thanks for the idea…
