May Arts is happy to send customers samples of our ribbon for FREE. We know that samples can be extremely helpful in deciding what colors, materials, or widths will work best for your project or store.

**Regarding silk ribbon; as we mention in the product information for the silks on our website, samples of these styles should be considered guidelines only because dye lots of silk ribbon can/do vary between batches since this is an organic material affected by many different environmental factors when dyeing. We take great effort to keep dye lots of silk ribbon in an acceptable variance range. Pictures are updated online when new batch variances come in.**

Please keep sample requests limited to 12 (twelve) samples per customer, per month. Samples traditionally are six inches in length. Sample requests are processed separately from wholesale orders, and due to demand can take a minimum of 7 business days to process and put in the mail. Samples are sent via regular mail (USPS) in a May Arts branded envelope. Please be aware that we do NOT send samples of discontinued items or items 5 yards or under (including our Deck The Halls ribbons). Sample requests are not considered orders.

The timeframes listed above are a guideline and may fluctuate based on season. Since this is a free service we do not guarantee specific delivery windows.

SPECIAL NOTICE: August-December is May Arts' busiest season for holiday ribbon orders. As a small business with limited personnel we prioritize getting orders out the door first with speedy shipping, and have personnel cut sample requests when possible. Due to this, samples during these months can take an extra 1-2 weeks to be put in the mail. Since this is a free service we do not guarantee delivery times for samples.
