My sister and I had a girl’s day out a couple of weeks ago, and spied a really cute picture frame covered with random ribbons. Of course, I immediately knew I could make this project using some of my favorite May Arts Ribbons, in no time flat.
I found a chipboard frame at the local craft store, which was exactly what I needed. I ran this through the Xyron Creatopia to apply adhesive to the entire front. I started laying strips of ribbon, alternating horizontal and vertical and letting the ribbons criss-cross some. When the ribbons intersected other ribbons, and didn’t have adhesive below them, I just used a little double sided tape to hold them in place. I used a liquid glue to hold the edges down on the sides of the frame and finished everything off with a few Frayed Flowers.
