This 1.25 inch by 32 yards ribbon is 100% silk. May Arts’ silk ribbon is a handcrafted distinctive work of art. Each product is dyed using old-world, labor-intensive methods and crafted with the finest silk thread.

Thanks to an old-world weaving technique, each ribbon has the look of subtle veining and cross-woven threads while actually being smooth and soft. May Arts’ delicate and fine silk ribbon is truly an heirloom product singular in its beauty. It would be great for gift wrap, card making, sewing, scrapbooking, hair bows and home decor.

This ribbon would also be ideal for floral arrangements, weddings, Valentine, summer, Christmas and winter projects. Also available in a 1/8 and 1/4 inch , 1/2 inch, and 2 inch widths. May Arts Ribbons’ silk is what is known as China Silk.

China silk is soft, lightweight and lustrous with a graceful drape and a smooth surface with the appearance of veining and small wrinkling. Silk ribbons are hand wash only in cold water with a mild detergent and no chemicals. May Arts offers an undyed option for dyeing your own colors.

Silk thread naturally appears white. The difference between SK-00 and SK-01 is that actual white dye was applied to the SK-01, giving it more sheen. Please take note that due to the hand-dyed nature of our silk ribbons, color can and does vary between batches.

Each ribbon is dyed to a corresponding Pantone textile code inspiration (Pantone textile codes are different than the PMS for printing on ink and paper), but due to the nature of the organic fabric environmental factors can affect the dyeing process in different ways. We make every effort to keep our colors within acceptable shade variations to their Pantone code. While we do send samples of silk ribbon, please note that our silk is in very high demand so new shipments are always coming in where dye lots can vary.

If you wish to know the corresponding inspiration Pantone textile code for any color please email sales@mayarts.com. We upload new individual SKU pictures of our silk when a new batch with differing dye lot comes in so you can see any color changes. The individual SKU pictures are the best reference of current inventory.

We try to make sure that the photos of our items accurately reflect the color of the item. However, due to the differences in monitor and device settings (brightness, contrast, saturation, etc) there may be a slight difference in color between what is shown on the site and the final product. 1. Returns & Exchanges

You may return or exchange unused or defective merchandise within 30 days of delivery.
All returns must include the original invoice or order confirmation.
Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer (unless the item is defective).
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus original shipping costs.
If you request an exchange for an item of similar value, we will ship it via USPS Ground Advantage at no additional cost. If you prefer expedited shipping, you may pay the difference.
Final Sale: Cut-to-length ribbon, clearance items, and custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
Damages or defects must be reported within 60 days of receipt. After 60 days, we may decline replacements or refunds.

2. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to U.S. addresses, Puerto Rico, and international destinations.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
Express shipping (2-Day, 3-Day, Next Day) requests must be placed by 1:00 PM ET to qualify for same-day dispatch.
Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carriers, weather, customs, or unforeseen events.
Once the carrier accepts your package, May Arts Ribbon is no longer responsible for delays, loss, or damage in transit.

U.S. Shipping Options

For orders under $250, domestic shipping defaults to USPS Ground Advantage unless you choose otherwise.
For larger orders, you may select from USPS, UPS, or FedEx services at checkout.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on destination.
Estimated delivery: 7–21 business days, subject to customs processing.
You are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees. If packages are refused or destroyed due to nonpayment of those charges, we may only refund the product cost—not shipping fees.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method after we receive and inspect your return.
The original shipping cost is non-refundable.
If you cancel an order before it ships, we’ll issue a full refund (including shipping).
Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET are not eligible for same-day shipping — you may cancel within the same business day before 3:00 PM ET only if your order hasn’t shipped.
