How To: Thanksgiving Ribbon Placecards
Using your favorite dies and die-cutting machine, create your own quick and festive placecards for this Thanksgiving!
For this particular placecard, I started with a 3″ strip of patterned paper and a 1.75″W X 1.25″H scrolled die. Using the die, cut a window into the paper. Apply a fabric glue around the back of the window and adhere enough 1.5″ ribbon to cover the opening. For a completed look, cut a matching piece of paper to cover the ribbon from the inside.
Next, cut a smaller version of the same scrolled die from patterned paper; I’ve used a 1″W X 0.5″H die. Write on the names or use stickers to personalize.
Adhere to the center of the ribbon scroll with a glue dot. Tie a small ribbon bow and attach it below.
