The Versatility of Crochet Lace

Jenifer Cowles May Arts Crochet Trim Collage

Hi! Jenifer here with you today with some projects and inspiration using the new May Arts 421 crochet ½” lace.  I absolutely love this crochet lace; the ½” size is perfect for a wide variety of projects.Jenifer Cowles May Arts Skirt Colage

First up is this super cute and easy skirt that I made for my daughter.  I saw one like it in one of the kid’s catalogs that I got in the mail.  I used some off white gauzy cotton and just made a simple 3 tiered skirt.  I love the slight contrast that the crochet lace gives to the skirt.  It really adds the extra touch to make it from just a skirt to a beautiful skirt.

Up next are some quick and easy cards I put together.  The crochet lace is the perfect touch for your cards and even your scrapbook layouts.  I just tied a simple knot but you could tie in a bow or even staple to your card or page.  I love how it makes these cards nice and delicate.

For my last piece of inspiration I have made the Crochet lace into these cute little flowers and made them into hair clips.  You could also make them and attach them to a piece of clothing and how cute would a little group of these be on a onsie for a baby gift.  I hope I have insired you to try out the new crochet lace on your next project.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my projects today.  Make sure you stop by the blog all week for even more projects and inspiration.
