DIY Nautical Card Set
I’ve got a fun boxed set of cards to share that I made using the super fun PSA Essentials ‘Anchors Aweigh’ set!
You could make a set of notecards in no time with this fun set! I decided to coordinate my inks to the pretty solid variegated ribbon in turquoise/light blue/white– which has always said ‘beach’ to me and comes in 2 great widths!
I started with the 3/8” width– pulled out some matching ink, DCWV patterned paper & got to work!
The images fit perfectly into a 1 ¾” punch- so it was really easy to get perfect focal images!
I wanted to use the wider 1.5” solid/variegated ribbon for some of the images- and who doesn’t love a red crab and sand castle with a little red flag? I added some red burlap string to tie it together!
I put the whole set into an acrylic box, then embellished the front with more of the star outline, 1.5” solid/variegated ribbon, and burlap string.
I think it turned out really cute & will make a great gift! I try to keep cards pretty flat when given as a gift so that extra postage isn’t required. The ribbon packs a huge punch without adding bulk!
Thank you for your time! I hope you’ve been inspired!
