Make Your Own Patriotic Pin

I have a fast & fun craft for you today! You can make this great pin in a matter of minutes!

With the 4th of July right around the corner, these would be fun to make for favors! Or if you have kids in school with ‘theme’ days, this is a great Red, White & Blue addition!

Your supply list is short! I used 5/8” sheer ruffle in navy & 3/16” grosgrain stripe in red/white.

I cut about 8” of the navy & 7” of the stripe & folded them into the looped shape. I machine stitched it to hold it in place, but Helmar Premium Craft Glue would be perfect! (It is the only glue that I actually got to use the ENTIRE bottle of without it drying out! I’ll be buying more asap!)

Here’s the hardest part- glue the pin on the back, but center it on the striped ribbon so that it doesn’t show from the front!

I know. Really tricky.  That’s all there is to it! 🙂

It’s a cute pin to wear for red, white & blue day- or any day to show your patriotic pride!

Here it is in action!

And why not add matching ribbon to pony tails?!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired!
