How To Make A Boho Crown
If you are looking for a boho crown for a photo shoot or party, look no further than your May Arts Ribbon stash.
Today I’m sharing a tutorial on how you can easily create a bohemian inspired crown. First you need to gather up some ribbon. Look for nature inspired colors and fibers. I also made sure that one of these was a wired ribbon to make it easy. If not you could just simply use a piece of wire.
I thought that the green in the leaves were a little crashing with the other thread’s colors so I roughly painted them. The paint was also a great way to add more sparkle into the look so I made the paint mix with Gesso and Metallic F/X powder.
After the leaves dried, it’s time to make your crown. Gather them all together matching the ends and twist gently to join them together.
To join the two ends together, overlap them slightly and wrap a small piece of wire around them. You can keep the crown as is or add embellishments with glue.
