Fun DIY: Curtain Ring Bracelets
I was recently on Pinterest & saw these cute bracelets covered in fabric- and immediately thought they would be so fun with ribbon!
These shower curtain rings are really inexpensive so you can make lots of cute bracelets for not a lot of money! I used hot glue, so this isn’t a very kid friendly craft, but kids can certainly contribute on which ribbons to use!
I found that ½” to 3/4” ribbons worked well. I’ve used ¾” twill/chevron stripes in red, turquoise & yellow, as well as 5/8” burlap center stitch in turquoise. I cut a snippet off to use on the ends- cutting the knob of the curtain ring off with craft scissors first.
It seemed to work best if I only applied a small amount of glue & made a couple of wraps. Each bracelet takes about ½ yard of ribbon- depending on your overlap of course! 🙂
A fun transformation! I think you will find the size of these rings make the bracelets best suited for girls & tweens- most adult wrists will probably be too big!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’ve been inspired!
