DIY Hair Clips
I’ve got such a fun project today!
I decorated bobby pins with the great satin cut outs! I used the new 1.5” metallic silver star banner ribbon, then topped it with a ¾”silver satin cut out star! You can make this project in gold too!
I hot glued the stars to each other, and then to the bobby pin; a snippet of 3/8” silver metallic velvet ribbon was used on the back for a finished look. For a pretty gift I punched 2 holes into the new Artful Accents kraft decorative tags & slipped the bobby pins on. To embellish the tag I used ½” silver metallic ribbon tied with ¼” black silk & white/silver Baker’s twine.
I also made a snowflake version using 1.5” snowflake from the holiday satin cut outs topped with a white satin cut out snowflake and a rhinestone! This kraft tag was tied with 1.25” white silk and 3/8” silver metallic velvet ribbon.
A view from the back- so tidy!
My girl wearing her pretty snowflake!
I love how sweet these turned out & I can tell you they have been a hit by those that have seen them! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ve been inspired! 🙂
