Craft: Embroidery Hoop with Ribbon Accents
I recently came across the cutest embroidery hoop on Pinterest and it included a pattern- you can find it here! I thought it would be fun to make it with May Arts ribbon for accents.
I knew I wanted to do it in reds, so I went to the local fabric store & picked out some fun fabric. It doesn’t take much at all! Once I had my fabric pieces sewn in place I chose my ribbon. I machine sewed 5/8” ivory satin pleats in place & topped them with the new adhesive ¼” scalloped ribbon in red. Once I put my hoop together I added the ½” pom pom string in red around the outside with hot glue. I used pencil to transfer the words, but if you have a disappearing ink pen that would be helpful!
I love how fun this turned out!! Thanks for stopping by- I hope you’ve been inspired!
