Karen Hanson – Prima Ribbonista

4596-2

My name is Karen Hanson, and I am a crafter from Calgary, Alberta (about 3 hours north of Montana along the beautiful Rocky Mountains).  First and foremost, I am a mom of two adorable little girls and wife to an equally cute (and creative,) hubby! I originally started my blogging about my crafty adventures as a way of keeping myself “honest” about creating!  I had received a Cricut as a Mother’s Day gift, and wanted to make sure that I actually used it.  I was hoping my online scrapping friends could help encourage me to “keep on crafting, just keep crafting!”  Things grew from there, as did my scrapping and crafting.  I now love creating everything from cards, to scrapbooking layouts to home decor projects, and even throw in a bit of sewing now and again.  I have been a huge fan of May Arts ribbon since I first discovered the product through a joint challenge with DCWV.  I cannot tell you how excited I am to share ideas, tips and tricks and even a few lessons I learn along the way as part of this great design team!

How cheerful your designs are…the umbrella filled with flowers make such a welcoming front door, the tutu favor cups I’m sure were a hit with your girls. Congrats on being chosen for the May Arts design team.

Your projects are all so pretty. Touches of ribbon on LOs, cards and crafty things make them a little bit more special and always prettier.
Congrats on making this prestigious team and thank you for sharing you lovely ideas!
