DIY Bachelorette Tags ❤ VALENTINE’S DAY

Hi everyone, Katie Smith of Punk Projects here! Have you seen the new Washi Tapes that May Arts is carrying? I think they’re just gorgeous! When I saw them I knew they would be a perfect embellishment for this mini album I was planning.

My Sister just got married over the holidays and with Valentine’s Day coming up (sooner than you think!) I wanted to create a fun mini album to give to her using photos of her bridesmaids!

To create your own, following along with these steps:

Step one: Cut out 7 (more or less depending on your amount of photos) 3″x5.5″ tags from pink cardstock.

Step two: Cover one side of each tag with washi tape. I used these tapes: Foil Flower, Foil Dots, Foil Mini Hearts and Flower Washi Tape. I lined them up onto the back of each tag, and then trimmed off any extra.

Step three: Layer one of your photos with paper onto each tag and add a strip of washi on to the top and bottom of each photo.

Step four: Add any other desired embellishments. I added word stickers and some pearls. For the cover tag, I layered a piece of vellum over top of washi tape, so it gives a soft, dreamy look, and stitched it down.

Step five: Using a 6″ piece of 1/4 Inch Gypsy Variegated Silk Ribbon, thread it through the hole of each tag and tie it into a bow to bind your tags together into a mini album.

I love making mini albums because they are SO quick, and washi tape adds a perfect little embellishment without being too crazy.
