How To: Winter Pine-cone Wreath

This year I wanted to create some door decor that I could leave up through the winter and not just for the holiday season. It didn’t take me long to find my ribbon muse. The pinecone ribbon instantly inspired me when I saw it. So I really wanted to showcase it.

I started by simply wrapping my wreath form with the beige yarn, trying not to leave any spaces for the form to show through. I then added a layer of  burlap twine at the top and the bottom of the wreath. Then came time for the pinecone ribbon. Two loops at the top for the wreath to hang from, and then I created a nice big bow for the very top.

Using hot glue and twine I attached the actual pinecones to the middle of the wreath. Two cute herringbone bows finish off the pinecones perfectly.
