DIY Card of Hope for October
HOPE Breast Cancer Awareness Card
Created By Pam Bray Designs
I “Hope” you are having a fabulous day, week, month, year or wherever you are at this very moment in your life. I am super excited to share with you that May Arts Ribbon has asked me to join their design team! As my first project, I created this lovely Breast Cancer Awareness HOPE Card. I have so many friends who have experienced breast cancer, and I’m blessed to say they are all survivors!!! So without further ado, let’s begin!
Step 1
I began by first adhering pattern paper to my card base.
Add some of the Solid Color Edge Ribbon to create a border.
Step 2
Make a small ribbon bow from the Solid Color Edge Ribbon ; add to the top of the card.
Step 3
Using thread with a needle; hand-sew a running stitch in 24″ of Solid Color Edge Ribbon .
Step 4
Pull the thread carefully to gather to form a flower.
Step 5
Add a gemstone to the center of the ribbon flower.
Step 6
Add completed flower to the front of the card.
Step 7
Die cut “HOPE” from pattern paper.
Step 8
Adhere “HOPE” cutout to the front of the card.
Step 9
Cut ribbon and pattern paper flags and adhere to the top of the front of the card.
Step 10
Decorate the inside of your card and Voula! Your card is now complete!
Your card is now ready to share and bring HOPE to someone in need.
I “hope” I have inspired you today, and encouraged you to “Hope.”
HOPE for today, tomorrow and into the future. Hugs ?
