Make Your Own Spring Cards

Hi there, Samantha Sibbet sharing with you today.  I wanted to show you a few spring cards that you can quickly make with just a few supplies you have on hand  Making cards perfect for spring gifts starts with a pretty color palette that makes you smile the moment you see it.  I picked my May Arts ribbons first.  I used my all time favorite jute string, this stuff looks great whether I use it in a single strand or tripled up in a sweet bow.  I can’t resist pairing the yellow twill up with red and aqua.  I put in some gray here and there, it is such a pretty neutral accent.  When I made the rosette/prize ribbon, I rolled the ribbon and twisted it, securing it to an adhesive base.  I added the tail ribbons and stamped “Spring Joy” on thin strips of paper.  Put a dab of adhesive on the backs of your strips, tuck them into the rosette and last, trim the tails to your desired length.

When I opened my email this morning, this card just took my breath away!  Don't know why….there is just something about it that speaks to me!  That yellow twill is so pretty!  Hope there is some in my recent order on its way to me—LOL!
