Spring Decor Craft Idea – Ribbon Decorated Monogram
Hello ribbon lovers!! Who is ready for some spring décor?? Or spring weather for that matter. Here in the mid-west we haven’t had a very snowy winter but I am ready for some sunshine and green grass!!
Today I am sharing an M to help remind me that spring IS on the way.
Here is what you will need.
Ribbon Used:
- String/Burlap Natural, 20-25 yards
- 1.5 inch Turquoise Twill Chevron Ribbon, 1.5 yards
- ¾ inch Twill/Chevron Stripes Turquoise, 12 inches
Other Supplies used:
- Cardboard letter with removable edge
- Two sided tape
- Prima flowers
- Pretty Pink Posh sequins
Start by carefully removing the edge.
Try to keep it all in one piece to make putting it back on easier.
Tie the end of the burlap string on the side that will be covered up, begin wrapping the twine around.
I left some of the white background showing through. Tie off the end the same way, off to the side so it won’t be seen
Apply your two-sided tape on the edge and re-attach all the way around.
Apply pressure all around to make sure it is attached well.
Use the two-sided tape on the back of the 1.5 inch twill.
Cover the outer edge with the ribbon.
Tie a piece of the ¾ inch twill around the letter and add a few pretty flowers.
Apply sequins randomly.
That’s it…bring on SPRING!!!
Until next time…wrap yourself in ribbon!
