Homemade Craft – St. Patrick’s Day Pin

Welcome May Arts fans 🙂  This is Jenifer here with you today to share a quick fun St. Patrick’s Day Clover Pin with you.  If you are anything like me I always seem to forget that little piece of green so I thought that I would be a little more prepared this year.

St Patrick's Day Pin

The first thing I did was use a little bit of alcohol ink to change the color of the Silver Sequin Hearts.  After the ink was dry I placed them on a scrap piece of felt.  I took some embossing powders to an old pin that was laying around and placed it in the center of my clover.  I just love the texture of the center.  Before hot gluing the center in place I took a length of pearls and looped them around a couple times and placed them under the pin.  Lastly I took the paper cord and folding it in fourths I twisted it around itself giving a nice little stem.  I glued it to the back of my felt along with a pin back.  Now the Pin is ready to wear.
