This is a layout that I created using a photo from my brother’s wedding. My now, sister-in-law’s favorite color is purple. Now, I will fully admit this is a color that I rarely use while crafting, but loved working with it when creating this oh so pretty layout.
It’s not very often in everyday paper crafting that you can really play up all of those super frilly, and pretty embellishments. But a wedding is the perfect excuse! All of the ribbon I used brought a little bit different texture to this palette. Metallic, silky matte finish, the satin swirl cut out and the shine of the satin edged purple ribbon. It all works together to create the ornate look I was going for.
