Good morning. Vera’s here from Ling’s Design Studio. I am thrilled that May Arts partner up with Creative Imaginations again. They have such beautiful collection to work with.
I get to play with the gorgeous Iron Orchid Design Devotion collection. For today I made a set of 3 cards using one of the patterned paper and the sticker from this collection. But, seriously you could make quite a few beautiful cards from this one collection.
To re-create this set, you’ll need:

May Arts 1” Satin Grosgrain Ribbon HN-1-09
Here’s a look at the first card.
For this one, I cut a panel from patterned paper slightly shorter than the card base, then wrap one end of the ribbon behind the card and fold the ribbon. Adhere the panel to the card. To finish, simply add the frame sticker and the butterfly sticker (I sprinkle the back of the butterfly with powder so it becomes un-sticky and add pop-dots on the center of the butterfly).
Now the second card.
For this one, I repeat what I did on the 1st card. Cut a panel, wrap one end of the ribbon behind the panel, and lay the rest on the card. Cut another strip of ribbon, fold it, adhere it to card, and let the end slightly shorter than the other ribbon. Adhere the sticker.
Now, on to the 3rd and final card.
Again, I simply cut the panel smaller than the card base and adhere it to the card base. I cut a strip of ribbon and adhere it to the panel. Cut another strip, fold it, and adhere to the left part of the panel. Repeat for the right side. Add the sentiment sticker and you’re done.
That’s it! 3 quick but beautiful cards. I love how the satin ribbon add elegance to the card while keeping the design clean.
