Create Your Own Layout – Discovery

Jenifer here today with the Creative Imaginations swap.  Let me tell you this line is beautiful, and the papers were just fun to work with.  I chose to create a layout.

I layered a few of the papers together and inked the edges to make them stand out a bit.  One sheet of paper had these wonderful Gold designs on them.  I hand cut one of the designs that looked like a sun and hand sewed the new May Arts Bakers Twine to make it look like rays of the sun.  I also used the twine as a string for my “Live” banner.

Here is a close up of some of the detail.  I used several May Arts ribbons on this layout, 389-18-33, 412-27, 361-58-10, 398-25-33 and 393-25-09 and as always it is the perfect touch to my layouts.

    Like the first one – is it blue? They all are nice & fun to dress up a little. pAPERS ARE DIFFERENT & CLASSY. Lock was on!! I have lots of ribbon but? I like that burlap.

    I really like the ribbon flowers you used. I have a few of those, but haven't used them yet. I'm going to make something with them today.

    Wonderful layout.  I love the idea of the baker's twine as the sun rays.  Fabulous idea!
