How to: Distressed Tag

Beside your basic Supplies you will need the following:

Take a Core’dinations Core Tag and crumple it, A LOT! The more the better. You want as many distressed areas to sand as possible.

Sand and get out those mists and color washes. We are going to get dirty!!!

Add layers of Glimmer Mists and Color Washes to get the color you desire. I started off with a pastel yellow so that will add another layer of color for you as well.   Note: to help drying time use a heat gun.

Once it dries, sand again and add additional layers of color. You can do this as much or as little as you would like.

Next up, distress the edges of the Graphic 45 tag.

Now add a Graphic 45 metal brad to the top of the tag and tie the Silky Crush ribbon around the tag. Loop a piece of May Arts Burlap String through the tag and then through the large blow.

Now you have a beautiful tag with some great details. You can easily make this for any occasion!
