Outside Home Decor: Flower Bucket

Hello!  This is Jennifer Ingle here with you today and I have a fun Mother’s Day project to share with you!  I have created a fun paint bucket terrarium with May Arts Ribbons and Authentique papers and stickers.

Supplies:

To create this fun bucket, begin by twisting wire into a step and curling some at the bottom to create a base.  Wrap the stem in floral tape.

Cut the flower using a die cut machine and assemble.  Attach to the top of the stem.  Curl some iridescent wired string to create the center.  Adhere suede leaves to the stem.  Use masking tape to secure the flower to the bottom of the bucket.

Cut the woven burlap and twisted burlap into small pieces.  Cover the bottom of the paint can with these fragments to create ‘terrain’ of sorts.

Decorate the top of the can using Authentique border and tag stickers.  Tie suede ribbon around can.  Attach a tag to the handle of the bucket using burlap string.

And that’s it!  This is a super fun project and you can personalize it in so many ways!  Thanks for stopping by!

Great project. The flower is pretty and I like the use of twine to look like dirt and grass.

Beautiful idea! Gotta love that burlap ribbon and faux suede leaves.  I think I'll try this idea for my next RAK for friends when we get together.  Just need more lovely trims to complete it!
