Hi everyone! It’s Karen from ScrappyCanuck Studios, and today I get to share one of my favorite crafty pastimes with you – creating flower embellishments. Now, I know there are all sorts of create companies out there that create beautiful flower embellishments, but I just love sitting down and using different materials to create my own.

When the new 1” Adhesive flag ribbon (A486-1) was released here at May Arts, I was in heaven! I love this ribbon, not only because it is an easy way to add texture and color to a project, but because the size and shape make it perfect for creating flowers! Here’s a little video to show you how:

I have used these little flowers on cards, headbands, scrapbook pages, witches hats and even on gift bags! I hope you are inspired to create a few blooms of your own!
