Hello ribbon fans!!

Today I am doing just a quick little layout share. I have recently been working on a heritage album for someone else. This family has an incredible collection of military photos that I have loved working with. So today I am sharing a double layout that I created that uses some beautiful May Arts Ribbon that just happens to work perfectly with a military theme.

Now, because these photos are of the Canadian military, I had a hard time finding embellishments that were appropriate, so I decided to create my own. The medal up in the left hand corner is created using May Arts Ribbon, to replace the “oh too bright” ribbon that was attached to it.

The mesh netting ribbon is a perfect fit for the theme too.

Project Recipe:

• 1.5″ Net Ribbon (Brown)
• 1.5″ Grosgrain Stripe (Brown)
• 1/4″ Metallic Chain Cord (Gold)
• Burlap String
