An Alternative to Gift Wrapping {winner & a giveaway}

Today’s project is a fun zigzag card and coordinating trinket jar!  Perhaps a great place to tuck a graduation gift (cash, of course! 🙂 )!

Supplies:

To begin, place a sheet of adhesive over the top of the jar lid.  Trim off the excess.  Begin on the edge and slowly wrap the twine to adhere to the lid in a spiral.

Trim a strip of patterned paper, roll, and insert into the jar.  Tie twine around the top of the jar and create a bow.

Ink your stamp with StazOn ink and stamp onto every other panel on the jar.  I found this was easier to do after inserting the paper inside because it was easy to see what I was doing.  Allow the ink to dry completely before touching.  Top the jar off with your lid!

To create the card, create a card base from white cardstock, trim the patterned paper slightly smaller and adhere.  Trim a white panel, stamp zigzag with smoothie ink.  Tie twine around panel.  Adhere panel to card.  Adhere sentiment sticker to card
