DIY Fall Hoop Wreath
Whoa where did summer go? Just like that the air is getting cooler and school is back in. Time to put away the beach towels and haul out the fall décor. First change, the wreath on my door, this year I’ve decided to go with something personalized, an Embroidery Hoop Wreath.
You can hardly tell it is an embroidery hoop with the May Arts Ribbons disguising the edge!
I started by sewing a monogram onto a piece of fall inspired fabric, backed with a piece of felt for additional stability. Then place the fabric piece into the hoop, and tighten the screw. Trim the overhang fabric and hot glue to the inside edge along the backside.
Starting at the bottom of the hoop, hot glue 1 ½” Crochet and Velvet May Arts ribbon around the perimeter and ½” burlap along the front edge.
This attractive fall door decoration can be made in only minutes, a perfect craft project for a beginner!
Try different May Arts ribbons to suit your décor or season. I can’ t wait to try one with the large pom poms.
